Brenda Johnson Searcy grew up in the city of Newport News, Virginia. She graduated from Ferguson High School and attended Thomas Nelson Community College. She is married to Pastor Jim Searcy. They have two daughters and one grandson. She is the founder of Women of Grace Ministries and the co-founder of Grace Temple Worship Center. Because of her willingness to serve others, she received a proclamation from the City of Hampton recognizing her for honoring mothers throughout the community. Her purpose is to help empower, motivate, strengthen and encourage all women who cross her path. Her motto: Only by the Grace Of God.
